I wanted to share the chain of yeshuos which I experienced as part of my volunteer work in the
zechus of Rashbi in Meron.
Four years ago, when I was 36 years old, I decided to volunteer in the logistical operation at the
tziyun of Rashbi in Meron on Lag B’Omer. I had been waiting so long for my basherter, and the age of
36 was the time for me to change direction.
My volunteering in Meron for the zechus of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai opened up the gates of my
mazel, because just a short time later the surprises – eventually leading to a moving wedding at the
foot of Mount Meron – began.
But then another two years passed, during which we waited for a child, who failed to arrive.
At the age of 38, I was again tense, and I decided to volunteer once again, this time with my
husband, on Lag B’Omer, to be blessed with a child already…
We continued donating for the zechus of Rashbi, and the miracle happened one year later, with the
birth of our child.
Another year and a half passed after the birth, and I was privileged to see the double miracle, with
revealed mercy.
We traveled to Meron to give thanks for all the good. It was a wintry day which became especially
rainy, and on one of the inclines to Mount Meron, the car began slipping towards the opposite lane.
We were terrified of falling onto the hard shoulder, but that wasn’t the end. From far off, we started
seeing the flashing lights of a vehicle racing towards us.
I shouted to my husband to move the car from the lane, but he answered in a trembling voice that
the car wasn’t responding.
I started screaming “Shema Yisroel” and at the last moment, I pulled the steering wheel in one go to
the right, and the car suddenly returned to the right lane.
We stopped the car on the hard shoulder, crying and terrified. We didn’t know how to thank G-d for
the miracle.
A car stopped immediately behind us and he took us to Meron, to Rashbi’s tziyun, to thank Hashem
for the incredible miracle, in the merit of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai.
